Thrift Saving Plan Accounts

The Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) is a retirement savings plan both for civilians who are employed by the United States Government and for members of the uniformed services.

The TSP at one time had an online search feature to help find lost participants and assist them (or their beneficiaries) in claiming their accounts.  However they have for whatever reason discontinued this feature on their website: http://www.tsp.gov.

Thrift Savings Plan (TSP)
 
The TSP is the primary contact for participants who have left Federal service.  If you are currently employed, your primary contact for TSP information is your agency or service.  TSP participant service representatives also handle questions about loans, contribution allocations, interfund transfers, designations of beneficiaries, and withdrawals for all participants.  You can reach our participant service representatives by calling the ThriftLine (see above).
